In a talk with CaughtOffside, former player Lauren lavished praise on two Arsenal stars. According to Lauren’s perspective, Arsenal possesses the best central defensive duo in the current Premier League. The former Gunners defender shared:

“In my opinion, there is no central defensive duo better than Gabriel and William Saliba in the Premier League. I was with the team during their preseason tour in the US. I talked to Saliba and Gabriel, telling them that it’s been a long time since I’ve seen two center-backs with such a deep understanding of each other’s play. Their communication and coordination are exceptional, and it’s been a while since we’ve seen that at Arsenal. They are the best duo in England right now, there’s no doubt about it.”

Indeed, both Saliba and Gabriel have received high praise from experts in the field.
