Neymar left PSG after facing strong reactions from the fans. Al-Hilal club signed a 2-year contract with Neymar and paid PSG a transfer fee of 90 million euros. However, this deal marked a decline in Neymar’s career. Shortly after the transfer, Neymar suffered a cruciate ligament injury before playing for the Brazilian national team and had to miss the entire season.

Neymar only appeared 5 times for Al-Hilal before being injured in October. However, Al-Hilal was not affected by the absence of the Brazilian player. The team continues to dominate the Saudi national championship and has a 12-point lead over the chasing pack.

Recently, Al-Hilal also won the Saudi Super Cup by defeating Al-Ittihad. In the AFC Champions League, Al-Hilal has reached the semifinals and will face Al-Ain club.
