Bayern Munich’s forward Kingsley Coman suffered an injury in the recent match against Cologne. Bayern secured a narrow 2-0 victory against the bottom-ranked Bundesliga team, Cologne, thanks to goals from Raphael Guerreiro and Thomas Muller.

Although they achieved the goal of securing three points, it was not a complete victory for Bayern as forward Coman sustained an injury during the second half of the match.

There have been no updates from the Bayern camp yet, but it’s clearly not a minor issue as the French star required assistance from medical staff to leave the field.

Bayern suffers a major setback ahead of their clash with Arsenal.

The injury from the 27-year-old player only adds to the headache for coach Thomas Tuchel. Before the match against Cologne, the German coach had to exclude Leroy Sane and goalkeeper Manuel Neuer from the matchday squad due to various fitness issues.

These three players will need further assessment before any conclusions can be drawn about their availability for the second leg clash against Arsenal in the Champions League quarter-finals next week.

Meanwhile, Coach Tuchel will certainly be without the services of defender Alphonso Davies for the match against the Gunners due to suspension.
