Aimé Leon Dore used well-known Londoners in a campaign to introduce the globe to the newest collection’s styles, which included some well-known football players.
“The World’s Borough,” a film and photo campaign directed by Walid Labri, features some of London’s most talented individuals, including football players and musicians of the highest caliber. In a video that was uploaded on ALD’s social media platforms, Declan Rice, Leah Williamson, and Rio Ferdinand discussed the value of friends and family while slaying the newest songs that would undoubtedly be released soon.
The stars are seen in a sequence of pictures that go with the video standing in front of bus shelters; the lovely sunset backdrop is enhanced by the presence of those recognizable red TfL benches. An iconic ALD lookbook features boat shoes and sweatshirts with football-inspired scarves and shorts.
Other well-known figures that appeared in the highly talented campaign were Loyle Carner and Gabriel Moses. It’s safe to assume that when it came to this campaign, Aimé Leon Dore covered every inch of the city.
Despite being based in New York City, ALD is closely monitoring the London market. This is the pinnacle of transnational fashion, football, and culture—from redesigned football scarves to a campaign right out of N7.
