Harry Kane has spoken out about his future at Bayern Munich and admitted that he has had a disappointing season.
What Happend?
After leaving Tottenham last summer for a record-breaking transfer fee of £100 million to join Bayern Munich, Kane has become a standout star for the German team. He leads the goal-scoring charts with a total of 39 goals across all competitions for the Bavarians.
Despite Kane’s individual success, Bayern are facing the possibility of ending the season empty-handed unless they win the Champions League. If this scenario unfolds, it will be the first season since 2012 that Bayern has not won any trophies. They were knocked out of the German Cup by minnows Saarbrucken and have been unable to challenge Bayer Leverkusen’s dominance in the Bundesliga.

While Kane is still under contract with Bayern until 2027, rumors of his return to the Premier League and rejoining either Tottenham or Manchester United have surfaced. However, Kane has denied these rumors to reaffirm his commitment to the German club.
What did Kane say about the future?
When asked about his intention to leave Bayern, Kane said (according to the Daily Mail): “I really enjoy the experience in Germany. It’s a step I needed in my career to have new challenges and a new environment. I’m very happy to be here. My future is at Bayern Munich. I have a 4-year contract. I like it and hope to make something special this season. If not, I’ll be ready to start again in the summer and change everything.”
Kane disappointed with this season
However, Kane also admits that things didn’t go as planned in his first season in Germany.
“Of course, this is not the season I hoped for,” he said. “Not winning the Bundesliga is a painful failure and makes the Champions League even more important. However, the whole team understands that there is still a long way to go. This has been a disappointing Bundesliga season compared to what Leverkusen has achieved.”
What next?
“Kane scored his 15th career goal against Arsenal in the recent match. He hopes to continue his streak against the Gunners in the Champions League quarter-final second leg at the Allianz Arena, to help the team progress to the semi-finals.”
