Saka, 23, is preparing to participate in his first World Cup after being called up to Gareth Southgate’s England team, but it hasn’t stopped him from considering other things.

The winger had a key role in the medical procedures carried out for the Kano children last month in association with BigShoe, a youth group.

In response to inquiries about the circumstances, the 23-year-old said, “I feel privileged to be in a position where I can help to make the children’s life easier and better through these surgeries.”

I still have a strong connection to Nigeria. I must convey my appreciation to the entire BigShoe team for enabling me to utilize my abilities to contribute wherever I can.

I believe that every child should have an equal opportunity to fulfill their dreams.

The Real Madrid star Antonio Rudiger has also partnered with BigShoe in recent months, pledging to give all of his World Cup profits to children in Sierra Leone. The Arsenal star is not the first player to do so.
