England stars Jude Bellingham and Beth Mead help launch McDonald’s Fun Football free coaching sessions

More than 500,000 people in the UK will receive free coaching sessions thanks to McDonald’s efforts to revive “fun football,” which was spearheaded by England players Jude Bellingham and Beth Mead.

The sessions, which will be led by FA-qualified coaches and offered in 1,500 sites, are open to kids of all skill levels between the ages of 5 and 11.

Additionally, McDonald’s is offering pan-disability and visual impairment programs in an effort to reach the one-third of impaired children who do not already receive the advantages of sports.

In order to ensure that Fun Football coaches can welcome any child and modify sessions accordingly, over 100 coaches completed customized training modules earlier this year as part of a ground-breaking coaching development program created in partnership with BBC Children in Need, British Blind Sport, Kick It Out, and England Futsal.

Jude Bellingham, a McDonald’s Fun Football ambassador and star for Real Madrid and England, stated: “We need to make grassroots football more accessible for everyone.” The future of the game depends on removing the obstacles related to attending sessions, which is why McDonald’s Fun Football is so crucial.

In order to help more coaches support kids from all backgrounds, we’re introducing first-of-its-kind coaching development and exploring ways to keep sessions as near to the families that need them the most.

The McDonald’s Fun Football ambassador and star for both Arsenal and England, Beth Mead, continued, saying: “As players, we have a responsibility to engage with the next generation.” We wish to keep gaining momentum once we start.

Because of this, I am extremely enthusiastic about the work being done by the program and am honored to have served as a McDonald’s Fun Football ambassador for so long. We need to never stop looking for new methods to make sure that our game keeps getting better at all levels.
